As per CITB’s guidelines, it’s also advisable for participants to provide their unique CITB Levy number or their NI number at the time of booking the course.
The SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certificate is a widely recognized qualification within the UK construction industry and is often a requirement for management roles on construction sites. It’s a part of the CITB (Construction Industry Training Board) Site Safety Plus Scheme, making CITB the awarding body. Successful candidates can use their SMSTS certificate qualification when applying for a CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card, another critical certification in the construction industry. The SMSTS certificate is valid for five years, after which it can be renewed with a refresher course.
