What is ePAL?
IPAF’s ePAL application is your new digital wallet to store and share your IPAF-powered licenses and access qualifications, including the Mobile Lifting Work Platform (MEWP) PAL Card, Mast Work Platform (MCWP), and lifting operators. Competent Assessed Persons (CAP), MEWP for Managers, Site Evaluation (for MEWP Selection) can be added. Easily record your experience of operating on machines powered by digital log access.
When is it available?
On January 6, 2022, ePAL will be officially launched for North America and on February 1 for Brazil. Austria, Germany and Italy will be available soon.
Why is it released?
IPAF is committed to driving sustainable change in the industry. ePAL replaces the need for paper and plastic documents and licenses, conveniently bringing them together in one place. Operator qualifications and experience can be easily recorded, stored and shared.
What are the benefits?
ePAL is very convenient for operators and their employers – licenses, qualifications and practical experience are easy to share on the operator’s phone, providing peace of mind in the light of safety and security. PAL digital cards are also smart in case of fraud and benefit from the added security of a mobile phone connection.
